Ysgol Bro Teifi is involved in the Eco-Schools Programme, a global initiative that encourages schools to become more sustainable through practical action. Like many Schools in Wales,  participation in this program helps us to develop green habits and promote environmental responsibility. The school currently has Green Flag status for their commitment to sustainability.

2. Energy-Efficient Buildings

Our school’s facilities are modern, having been built as part of the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools Programme. The school benefits from energy-efficient building designs such as:

• Insulation and Efficient Heating Systems and underfloor heating throughout: Minimising energy waste and reducing the school’s carbon footprint.
• Solar Panels: 600 solar panels are installed in order to provide clean energy for the school’s electricity needs.
