Welcome to Cerdin's class page.

Cerdin is a class for Year 3 children. On this page you will find some useful information about the class and an outline of what we will study during this year. You will also see examples of some of the work the children undertake in the class.

PE days for Cerdin class: Thursday

They can come into school in their kit on PE days.

Our Theme

Our theme this term is 'On our doorstep’ and during the term we will study the life of the Celts, experiment with different materials and look at buildings in Llandysul and the wider area.

Homework

For this term, your homework will be reading regularly, learning letter sounds in English (Sound sheet attached) and practicing your times tables skills on TT Rock Stars. You are also welcome to read Welsh books on Darllen Co's website using your HWB details to log in.

The Great Gallery

EXPRESSIVE ARTS

On Wednesday 25th of October, The Great Gallery was held in the school hall. This was an opportunity for Reception to Year 2 pupils to display their drawing masterpieces which they have been busy preparing over the past few weeks. The Foundation Learning theme during the first half term was 'I'm Important' and the pupils have been very busy developing their artistic skills by drawing self portraits. It was lovely to invite the pupils' families to the hall in order to appreciate their work and to buy the pictures.

Thank you to everyone for their support during the event.
